Perry Middle School is located at 2775 West Britton Road, Perry, Michigan. It is the home of nearly 400 Ramblers which consists of 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students. School hours are from 7:30 am to 2:31 pm. Students are offered state-aligned course work that addresses all of the grade-level content standards and benchmarks in mathematics, science, social studies, reading, and English language arts. Each of the programs have gone through an extensive and focused alignment work . Other course work that students are encouraged to participate in include instrumental music, wood shop, fine arts, physical education, publications, Spanish, German, and technology.  We also offer enrichment experiences in after school student organizations including Science Olympiad, Future Problem Solvers, Student Council, and a varitey of clubs such as yoga, games, and woods.

Students in the 7th and 8th grade have an opportunity to participate on various athletic teams throughout the school year. They include basketball, track, wrestling, and volleyball. Attention is also given to the transition from our two elementary schools, as well as to the high school. Perry Middle School has an orientation for 5th grade students and their parents in the spring, prior to attending the middle school. This time usually answers many of the questions, both parents and students have regarding life at the middle school. There are also team-building activities for the soon to be 6th graders. Another orientation takes place for 8th grade students as they are ready to transition into the high school, as we work with counselors, teaching staff, and with administration to assist in helping students be successful. Students and staff from our high school visit with these students to talk about high school life, classes, and extra curricular activities.

We, at Perry Middle School, are proud of what our school offers and are excited about the direction that we are headed. If you have any other questions or would like to discuss what we have to offer, please feel free to contact us at (517) 625-6196.
