Students must be 14 years - 8 months old by the first day of class to be eligible.  

No homework - all work is completed in class

Classroom Location: Art Room at Perry Middle School, 2775 W. Britton Road, Perry, MI 48872
(Use front door entrance off W. Britton Road. Meet in entry way.)

Contracts are in the High School Office

For Segment I Classes, a completed Student Enrollment form should be mailed along with the tuition payment and a photocopy of the student's birth certificate to the address above.  

For Segment II Classes, please include photocopies of the student's green Segment I Completion Certificate and Level I License issued from the Secretary of State, along with tuition payment and enrollment form.  An 8 1/2 x 11 inch notebook is required for Segment I classes, and lined paper for Segment II classes. 

Classes are limited to the first 36 students who enroll.

Segment I Classes $300.00
Segment I Classes  - 24 hours of classroom instruction / 6 hours of driving

Segment II Classes $40.00
Segment II Classes - 6 hours of classroom instruction

This driver education program is offered by a private contractor and is not a part of the Perry Public School's curriculum.  Students have the option to attend other driver education programs if they so desire.
